Is this the official USCIS test?
The app uses the official 128-question 2025 USCIS Civics Test (M-1778), the version operative for naturalization applications filed on or after October 20, 2025. The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS.
The real test is oral. How does the app practise that?
The app drills the same 128 questions with the same pass mark, in multiple choice: four options, instant feedback, and then the full list of wordings USCIS accepts, so you learn every answer the officer can take rather than one phrasing. Any question can be read aloud with the speaker button. The only thing left for the day itself is saying the answer out loud.
Why is the senator wrong?
Senators, governors, and the Speaker/President/VP/Chief Justice can change between elections and appointments. We refresh state data and live-data links periodically, but if you spot something stale, email us : we ship updates to your phone within a day. For the absolute current list, USCIS maintains uscis.gov/citizenship/testupdates.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in or cloud sync. Your bookmarks, wrong-answer history and practice attempts are stored on your device.
Is the app available in Spanish?
The app interface runs in English or Spanish, but the questions themselves stay in English, the way the officer asks them. USCIS publishes the 2025 test in English only, and the oral test is given in English (with limited special-consideration exceptions).
Why do I see ads?
The app is free, and ads are how we cover hosting and development costs. We use Google AdMob, which respects iOS App Tracking Transparency and EU GDPR consent. You can review or revoke ad personalisation any time from Settings → Ad privacy options.
